This often involves helping around areas of drug, alcohol, & sex addiction; grief, loss, & trauma; identity, race, and cultural issues; challenges around dating and being single; and conflict and communication issues in intimate relationships.

Couples Therapy

I work with couples who are struggling in their relationship. This often involves those struggling in their communication and conflict resolution; pre-marital counseling for those considering marriage; addressing issues around sex and intimacy; developing ways of creating a better relationship

Recovery Support

Life is hard. For those in recovery, maintaining sobriety makes life feel even harder.

I provide support to clients who are ready to reevaluate their relationship with their addiction. I work with them on getting to the root of their addiction, improving their coping skills, processing and working through the issues that lead them to fall back on their addiction, and helping them to build a healthier lifestyle.

Drug Evaluations

I work with clients on who have been mandated by the courts to undergo a drug evaluation. This includes a one-on-one interview and completing several assessments and typically takes 1-1.5 hours. Assessmentst do not involve being given a urine test. Clients will receive detailed report that gives the results of their assessments and clinical recommendations within one week of the evaluation.

Consultations

I provide consultations to clinicians who want to improve their efficacy in two communities: Asians/Asian Americans clients and those who struggle with addiction. These two demographics have challenges that are unique to their communities. Clinicians who want to learn how to better engage and work with clients from those respective communities can contact me for consultations.
